Vascular and Interventional Specialists of Alabama was founded in 2024 by Dr. Jeremy Ferris and Dr. Louis Lucas. They are both highly skilled and dedicated interventional radiologists with a shared vision of improving access to advanced, minimally invasive treatments across Alabama. Each having over 20 years of experience providing Interventional Radiology treatments, they recognized a critical need for more access to this type of specialized care in the region; and therefore, set out to create a practice that prioritizes patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and cutting-edge technology.
Dr. Jeremy Marcus Ferris, MD
Dr. Jeremy Marcus Ferris, MD, is a board-certified radiologist specializing in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He currently practices in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Dr. Ferris has practiced image guided medicine for the last 20 + years in the Southeast.
Dr. Louis W. Lucas, MD
Dr. Louis W. Lucas is a board-certified radiologist with over two decades of experience in interventional and diagnostic radiology. A native of West Blocton, Alabama, he is committed to delivering patient-focused care through his clinical expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
